ESCO conference, Chicago, IL, May 15 – 17, 2002

Renewable Energy Business Opportunity in Morocco
The U.S. Department of Commerce will hold a business roundtable aimed to promote sustainable energy practices in Africa at the Department of Energy’s US-African Energy Ministerial conference, June 3-4, 2002.  For more information, contact ECEE. 

Demand side management in Brazil
The Brazilian company Interact is interested in working with US companies to explore products in distributed generation, energy efficiency, energy contracting, and consulting to address the consumer side of the energy equation.  For more information, contact ECEE.

Solar Energy in Jamaica

The Inter-American Development Bank will hold the one-day conference May 22nd, 2002 to highlight IDB projects in Latin America and the Caribbean and provide information on business opportunities for the private sector.  For more information, contact ECEE. 

Clean Water in Asia, Bangkok, Thailand, July 10 – 12, 2002

Mid-Atlantic Green Power Workshop, Philadelphia, PA, June 11, 2002
The Center for Resource Solutions and the Mid Atlantic Renewable Energy Coalition will organize a Green Power Procurement workshop to assist businesses interested in renewable electricity.  For more information, contact ECEE.

Energy Efficiency Workshops, China, July 2002
DOC, EPA, along with the China State Environmental Protection Administration will organize a series of industry-specific pollution prevention/energy efficiency workshops.  The workshops will feature representative US multinationals, US environmental technology experts, and one-on-one meetings with Chinese participants. Shanghai International Energy Efficiency Expo, China, August 22-24, 2002
