Thailand Energy Saving Systems

Ecolux International Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Yiemsawat Trading Co. established to sell energy saving products, is seeking electric power energy saving systems (including lighting and water heaters) and environmentally friendly consumer products and services from a US Company. Ecolux wants to act as the local representative/distributor for the US Company.

Meet Chinese Delegation from Shanghai

A 13 member delegation from the Shanghai Municipal Government will be meeting with ECEE on March 11th at 10:00am in Washington, DC. US energy efficiency companies are invited to participate; the delegation is interested in learning about the recent trends of energy efficient technologies and their applications in a wide variety of municipal settings.

Mexico Energy Efficiency Seminars

ECEE member Alliance to Save Energy will lead US energy efficiency companies on an energy efficiency mission seminar, focusing on the industrial and commercial sectors, to Veracruz and Monterrey in Mexico, in late April, 1999. The Alliance will lead another mission seminar to Cancun and Mexico City in late May, 1999, focusing on the hotel sector.

Philippines Motors

Foremost Farms, Inc, the largest pig farm in Asia, is sourcing out a bio-gas fed engine for its waste water treatment facility, and is looking for energy efficient motors and motor-driven equipment.

Russia Boilers

Power Gen, a production and retail company that manufactures and sells building materials and distributes heating and boiler equipment, is interested in buying electric boilers.

Russia Construction Materials

Profile-S Ltd, a manufacturer of windows, doors, and other construction materials, seeks a joint-venture with a US company to product high quality doors, windows and other construction materials.

Mexico Refrigerators

Comercializadora Dorma SA is interested in becoming a representative for US refrigerator products.

Chile Meters

The Chilean water works company, Aguas Cordillera SA, invites interested companies to present offers for the supply, construction, mounting and commissioning of electric installations and instrumentation, including electrical metering equipment and process controls.

Colombia Energy Efficiency

Novatexfil Ltd, a Colombian manufacturer of fabric filters for liquid processes that has expanded into industrial process controls, wishes to contact US companies operating in the field of energy efficient systems, with the purpose of purchasing their equipment to distribute in Colombia, or establishing joint-venture agreements to operate in Colombia. It is particularly interested in energy efficient technology for the following: refrigeration equipment, boilers and heating systems, metering equipment, ballasts, lighting systems and appliances, and controls, timers, and sensors.

Argentina Lighting, Controls, Sensors

The Camara de Comercio del Mercosur y Latinoamerica, a chamber of commerce that groups companies from many different sectors of the economy, in cooperation with private companies and the provincial government, is undertaking a public highway lighting project. The chamber seeks US manufacturers to supply the project lamps and related equipment.

Argentina Environmental Technology Demonstration and Conference

EPA, with support from Tetra Tech EM Inc. and the Environmental Export Council, is seeking US technologies for demonstration at a host industrial facility in Argentina, concurrent with a planned technology transfer conference to be conducted the week of May 31 – June 4, 1999.

Ecologia ’99 Mexico Environmental Trade Show and Seminar

The trade show Ecologia ’99, which is the first environmental event of the year, will offer an opportunity for US firms to show their products and services in a market with almost no domestic competition. The US DOC is offering several ancillary services to firms exhibiting at the show. Also, Market Strategies International will further assist participating companies and will exhibit mini-catalogs for firms that cannot participate.

NAESCO 1999 Mid-Year Conference

ECEE member National Association of Energy Service Companies is holding their Mid-Year Conference, Ensuring a Role for Energy Efficiency in a Deregulated Market, in Toronto April 26 – 28, 1999. The conference includes an International Roundtable featuring representatives of multilateral banks, project developers, federal agencies working to accelerate project implementation, and others currently active in the international marketplace. The roundtable will examine replicable methods for delivery of energy performance contracting models within specific markets, and will include small discussion groups based on these geographic markets.
