"Innovation and Integration: Nobody does it better than ESCOs"

ECEE member, National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) will hold its 17th annual conference in Palm Springs, CA November 15-17. International conference sessions include, "Lowering Risk and Increasing Financing for International ESCO Projects" and "Identifying Market Opportunities: What’s Real and Ready?" with market focus on Thailand, UK, Brazil, Taiwan, and Japan.

China Demand Side Management Training

ECEE member the Alliance to Save Energy is hosting a DSM training workshop with the Jiangsu Provincial Power Corporation the week of October 23, 2000 in Nanjing, just outside of Shanghai. Topics include financing, technologies, and incentives.

China Green Buildings Peer Exchange

ECEE member the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) will hold a workshop for Chinese provincial energy officers in Shanghai October 25, 2000. State energy officials from Iowa, Texas, and Oregon will lead the delegation.

Energy Efficiency/Renewable Workshops for Caribbean Hotels

ECEE member Solar Energy Research and Education Fund (SEREF) in cooperation with Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC) and the Caribbean Alliance for Sustainable Tourism (CAST) will organize, a series of workshops to provide participants with comprehensive training to manage energy, plan and conduct energy audits, and implement techniques available to conserve energy.

Horizon: Bringing US products to Japanese Buyers, Importers and Trading Companies

Horizon is a business bulletin that introduces new-to-market American environmental products, technologies and services to a targeted audience on the Japanese Web.

Department of Commerce to showcase U.S. products

"Business and Industry USA, 2001" will promote US products and services in Israel, Turkey, the U.A.E. and Oman, March 19 – 28, 2001.

Australia’s Premier Sustainable Energy Event

The Sustainable Energy Industry Association in Australia will be hosting the International Sustainable Energy Exhibition and Convention in Melbourne October 31-November 1, 2000. Participants will be able to discover all the latest benefits associated with the use of sustainable energy resources.

Singapore Building Authority Delegation

US DOE and NAESCO will meet October 11th with the delegation to discuss US energy performance contracting and energy efficiency technologies.

Renewable Energy in the Americas: REIA Conference and Expo and Village Power Workshop

Invited audience includes key energy decision-makers, private sector developers, and multilateral development organization staff. REIA2000 will take place on December 4th, 2000 and continue in conjunction with the Village Power Workshop at the World Bank from December 5-7, 2000.

TDA Investment and Development conference: Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia

In Washington, DC on November 15-16 a multi-sector infrastructure development conference for the Maghreb countries of Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia to highlight approximately 30 project opportunities, 10 from each of the featured countries in the environmental, transportation, telecommunications, energy and power, and mining sectors.

TDA Emergency Preparedness in the Americas Conference, December 4-6, 2000, San Juan, Puerto Rico

TDA will match U.S. technology and know-how with those responsible for emergency management and preparedness in Latin America and the Caribbean. The conference will serve as a forum for discussion of issues in emergency management as well as an opportunity for one-on-one meetings between U.S. firms and approximately 40 project sponsors.
